The seeds of revolution have been planted.
POWER BALL 9
REVOLUTION
The annual fundraising event and 20th anniversary celebration for The Power Plant Contemporary Art Gallery at Harbourfront Centre, Canada's leading contemporary art gallery
May 3, 2007
8:30 PM
Converted from a Power Station in 1987, 1 May 2007 marks The Power Plant's 20th anniversary as Canada's leading, ground breaking contemporary art gallery.
Power Ball 9: REVOLUTION will celebrate the art, events and people that have revolutionized our culture, thinking and world. Playfully and artistically featured, various revolutions-sexual, industrial, political, cyber, design-along with contemporary art, will liberate and expose contemporary artists and performers as modern day revolutionaries.
The Power Ball itself as an event revolutionized and changed the face of gala fundraisers in Toronto, incorporating glitz, glamour, fun, edge, and outrageous and radical art installations and performances. The Power Ball has risen to become the social event of the year.
For the crème de la crème of Toronto's cultural scene - rebellion is in.
